First Baptist Church of Bay

First Baptist Church is blessed with a wealth of resources through a strong membership of Senior Adults, aged 55 and over, who are, "Living Longer and Loving It!" The goal of the Senior Adult Ministry is to provide members with challenging opportunities for service and offer the support, encouragement and fellowship of other Christians. The Senior Adult Ministry, one of FBC's largest and fastest growing groups, recognizes that God calls servants from all walks and stages of life. By design, God has purposed that older Christians should counsel and train younger generations, drawing on a lifetime of resources in wisdom, experience, ability, dedication and commitment.

 

In  to addition, the Senior Adult Ministry also provides the opportunity for younger seniors to minister to older members, especially those with physical or health limitations that make it difficult for them to participate in activities. Whether making a visit, reaching out a hand, or lending an ear, our members find countless ways to share the love of Christ with other!

 

All of our Senior Adults are welcome to come and join us in the life and witness of our church. There are Sunday School fellowship classes that are available for all age groups, a monthly fellowship luncheon that meets in the Family Life Center, regular day trips to various points of interest, plus more that is yet to come!
