Bekah is a full-time missionary in an Asian country. She is now finishing her second year there, but is originally from Lunsford Road here in Arkansas. Christianity is oppressed in many ways in that nation, but God has used her background in public health to open doors of opportunity. There she is able to minister to needs and share the gospel with a variety of people: children, the disabled, students, doctors, nurses, police officers, atheists, Buddhists and Muslims. This year Bekah will continue teaching, ministering to the community around her and studying language.
Please pray: 1) that seeds of the gospel planted in many souls would take root and flourish; 2) that her local friends would have wisdom, joy and faithfulness despite persecution; 3) for guidance this year in negotiating work contracts.
